Wireless router / connection problems .. Can anyone help please?
My moms laptop will not work because the default connection suddenly was not there … can a cable (which one?) be connected from the router to the laptop to work? Wireless could also phone and / or digital television receiver is the problem? Would a cable (which you can connect to the router) come with a new viao laptop brand? Sorry, not sure what an Ethernet cable is beyond the fact that it is one of the various cables that are used on computers …..
Hello. The pay phone or TV, there should be no difference. You can connect an Ethernet cable from the laptop to the router and it should work. You may have to restart the router. If there is security on the router, the cable company can help with that.
