Network Hub Router Vs PC?

Should I use a router or hub networks, with my two desktop PC? I want to share files, share printers, and share Internet between them. Also I do not want it to be wireless I want to be wired. So what is the best way, and if possible, what make and model i should pick!?

A center is just a box that physically parallel Ethernet cables together. No firmware or implied. Because of this, a hub makes your Connection1 / 2 duplex, you can send or receive, but not at the same time. No prevention of collisions, so that packets that collide are lost and must be forwarded. All this is delayed and is why schools are obsolete. The British call a switch a hub – I think just to confuse the rest of us. A switch is the hardware device that replaced the Hub. A switch is used to connect computers to a network. The switch reads the header of a packet and it switches to the correct machine. No control functions. A switch is a smart router. The router controls the network, assign IP addresses to machines on it's LAN side. The router receives messages from the WAN (Internet) and side roads to the correct machine. A message from the LAN to the Internet is sent with the team management on the WAN side added to the packet header. This feature, called NAT or network address translation, allows multiple machines to use an Internet connection. So you need a router to enable multiple machines Internet access. What? Stick with a great brand – D-Link, Netgear, Belkin, Linksys. If you do not need wireless, you can get a simple model with cable and save a few dollars. Unless the teams have card G-bit Ethernet (or are planning to upgrade them) do not bother with the extra cost of a router G-Bit. One 10/100 Mbs will do very well as no internet connection each time is close to 100 Mbs
