wireless router with usb port review
Ive just received my new D-Link DIR-635 but how do I use the USB port on the back?

The router has a USB port on the back but how exactly can I use it?
Trusted Reviews say:The triplet of removable wireless aerials indicates that MIMO is behind the scenes but don’t be fooled by the USB port as its sole purpose currently is to allow flash memory with wireless configuration information to be used. In fact, the manual merely discusses its purpose and fails to provide any guidance as to how to actually use it. We asked D-Link to enlighten us but received no useful response so presumably it hasn’t got a clue about this either.

It doesnt have anything to do with flashing your router that is done as standard in all routers via ethernet. Trusted reviews uses the term “Flash memory” as in flash drives (USB flash).

You could try a USB-Modem.
I’m using one right now, to share the accsess between a stationary PC and a laptop!
It might be your router support this as well.
