What do I need to configure a home wireless network?
I'm trying to configure a wireless network at home for me and my brothers and sisters when we are in our rooms in our laptops can still message each other, help each other with homework and send each other music and video. This is not for the Internet. Mom will not let us have it b / c he says will be on the ground our studies. but all solutions for home networking I've seen wireless refers to an Internet connection. you need to work in a fairly large house on three floors, so I do not think that just created an ad hoc network between the laptops would be appropriate. all you need is a powerful wireless router? can be used to communicate only between laptops? yeh just a router, then the network setup wizard on every PC, that's all you need to do …. good luck
