Problem connecting to XBOX 360 live?
I have an LCD tv that does NOT have HDMI port, or VGA support cause it’s not HD. So I would like to know if I use a network adapter if I can connect wirelessly, and not have to buy a VGA cable. I already bought a wireless router and set it up fine. The reason is, my tv is in another room nowhere near the modem and the only thing I can think of is:
1. Try a network adapter and see if it works cause the guy at gamestop said he didn’t know, but I could try it (gamestop was the only last place I could hope to get a real answer). I feel so dumb having to ask, but I’ve found no answer.
2. Buy a LONG!!! ethernet cable that will reach, and try that.
I want to use the COMPONENT HD AV CABLE, and play live with my LCD tv, and NOT have to buy a VGA CABLE and connect it to my PC monitor. I’d have to take the system back and forth everytime just to play between rooms. Time consuming. If anybody knows please help me out. I posted another one before this, but didn’t really answer my question
If you buy the proper 360 wireless adapter you should have no problem linking it up through your router which will save you the hassle of moving the console and buying the VGA cable.
On the other hand… if you do set it up through your LCD T.V. you will miss out on the experience of playing it in glorious high def. So if you were to set it up wirelessly it may be worth investing in the VGA cable and moving the monitor about (assuming it’s a flat screen VGA monitor it shouldn’t be that heavy).
